The Iraqi Hypertension Society held a scientific session on Friday, December 19th  at Alkaram Palace Restaurant under the title “Cardio-Pulmonary Summit”. Four professors, Cardiologist and pulmonologist, were participated in this summit and presented four lectures explaining the bidirectional relationship between the heart and lungs as the two organs are affected by each other. The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Ghazi Al-Haji, President of IqHS, and Professor Dr. Abdulhameed Al-Qaseer, Professor of Internal Medicine and Respiratory Diseases. At the end of the summit, honor shields were presented to the guest lecturers and to some retired echocardiography doctors. The session was attended by a large number of doctors and pharmacists, and it was
