he Iraqi Hypertension Society participated in the 20th International Scientific Conference of the College of Medicine, Baghdad University on the first of December 2024 in a workshop about Hypertension and blood pressure measurements presented by Prof. Ghazi Haji, IqHS president and Dr. Samer Yousaf, IqHS member. Prof Ghazi gave a short overview of hypertension and its management while Dr. Yousaf explored blood pressure and gave tips and tricks for its measurement and the pitfalls that may be encountered he also explored the different types of blood pressure devices available. The workshop was attended by many medical students and some senior doctors, and it was an interesting workshop, as admitted by the attendees.
