As part of its scientific activities, the Iraqi Hypertension Society held a scientific session on September 12 in Baghdad, during which two lectures were presented. The first one by Dr. Muhammad Al-Baghdadi, an Interventional Cardiologist, is entitled “10 questions on stroke prevention in AF patients”. He discussed the latest updates regarding the use of anticoagulants in patients with atrial fibrillation by posing ten different questions for daily cases beautifully and scientifically. The second lecture was given by Dr. Nizar Al-Attabi, an Interventional Cardiologist in Baghdad Cardiac Center in Medical City, on the use of anticoagulants in peripheral vascular diseases and discussed the latest updates in this field. The scientific session was attended by a large number of doctors and pharmacists interested in this subject.
