On the occasion of World Hypertension Day which falls on 17th of May each year, the Iraqi Hypertension Society held various activities on this important occasion. The IqHS organized an educational workshop on Al-Mutanabbi Street, during which they gave medical lectures to the visitors of this important cultural street, as well as measured blood pressure and blood sugar for some of them and provided medical advice. On the same day evening, they also held a scientific session at the Heart of the World Hotel discussing a lot of hot subjects in hypertension and related disorders and the meeting were chaired by Prof Hilal Alsaffar and Prof Ghazi Haji… In addition, Adra for Conference Organization, in cooperation with the Iraqi Hypertension Society, sent educational messages to the general public via SMS.
